Reichstag

Berlin is the capital of Germany and just like Washington DC. Germany's Capitol Building is called the Reichstag. According to their website this is where the Parliament creates their laws just like our Senate and House of Representatives.

I caught the U-bahn which dropped me off 1 mile from the Reichstag. I had to make the walk over there. Other than a small protest, the building appeared empty which was weird because the elections are on September 26. I guess everyone was out an about trying to campaign one last time before the elections. I didn't even bother to try to go in. Instead I took some pictures of the building. There was nothing to write home about. It just looked like a nice building. There was no aura about it.

This is also where the finish line was for the Berlin Marathon.
