Yankees vs Red Sox Game 1
My dad has been a Red Sox fan for 52 years since 1967. Let me tell you something, you can't beat a game at Fenway. It lived up to the hype. Every little thing like the organ playing take me out to the ball game during the 7th inning, the kids with their jerseys and stories of their grandparents attending the game 50 years ago and sitting in the exact same seats, to the steel beams blocking the fans view (they get a discount). You can't beat it.
The game was a blowout, Red Sox beat the Yankees 19-3, 5 total home runs. The atmosphere was electric. We sat around all Bostonians who were so funny with their comments. The comments they made like, “Yankees suck", to “do the wave, participate”. CLASSIC BOSTONIANS!
During the 8th inning, the Red Sox fans sang Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond. This moment is an event we all will remember forever. The game was quite long, over 3 hours. Getting out of Fenway park was tough, it was packed. But everyone was in a good mood since the Sox won.
Getting out of Fenway Park was quite a challenge. We left the park, but at a different exit. However, Chris was able to use his app to navigate us to Queensberry Road.
