St. Gallen Christmas Market

St. Gallen's Christmas Market

We arrived in St. Gallen's a bit before the sun went down. The market was a few blocks from the train station. Since we had the Swiss Pass, we caught the tram to the market. The exact location was on Marktplatz (Market Place). According to what we read, the market was suppose to be lit up. It was, it was beautiful. Too bad there was no snow, it was just rain.

The place was busy, but not overcrowded like the markets in Germany. They also had a Christmas mug which I bought for 5 CHF. We walked around, it was your typical Christmas Market nothing crazy nothing over the top. Jared wanted McDonald's, so we went to the McDonald's across the street to order.

The train ride back to Zürich was quick, only 1 hour from St. Gallen. Michelle's leg was still in excruciating pain from the sledding accident yesterday. The kids were exhausted from going to the chocolate factory and the Christmas Market.

Back to the hotel. It is so nice to sit back and relax. I wanted to run and get some exercise, but instead made a poor choice and drank some Swiss beer.
