Getting ready for Germany

Being a local boy and living in Hawaii for 39 years you get comfortable with the island life. It is a good life. Other than the cost of living and traffic, everything in Hawaii goes according to plan. The people are great, the activities are fun, and spending time with friends and family is always happening. However, when you make the decision to move, things get turned upside down. Many things need to happen and happen quickly. Things such as passports, pets, packing, giving notice to job, friends, family, car, etc, etc all need to happen. There simply isn't enough time in a day to get it all done.

Update 5/7/19

Things are going. Michelle and Malia flew to Germany last week on April 28th. Jared and I are here tying up loose ends. There is a lot of stress that goes with it, but you deal with it the best you can. Our projected date to leave is June 10th. In the meantime, our friends and family wanted to say goodbye. We appreciate the time you've taken out of your schedule to be with us.
