I came here for poi, really good fresh Hanalei poi. But I guess I was more interested in the taro fields. It looks good on pictures. After some research, I found that there was an overlook in Hanalei where you get a dominating view of the taro fields. When we got there, the overlook had overgrown vegetation obstructing the view of the taro fields. That was a little disappointing. However, we figured out that on one of the one lane bridge, there was a bypass dirt road which would take us to the taro fields. We tried that. When I took a picture, it didn't turn out how I wanted it to. Oh well, not everything is a success.
