Mochi Festival

Mochitsuki Festival - January 13, 2018

I can't remember the last time we went to this festival. The kids were younger, but I believe it was only a few years ago.

Jared was in a bad mood and Malia was giving attitude. This would be Michelle's first time here. We had to wait in line for a long time, 2 hours or so. Daniel waited with me while the kids and Michelle did whatever. Janice was suppose to come and pound mochi but an emergency came up and she didn't make it in time.

Tonjiru Soup, worth the price of admission

With all this waiting, our main conversation was on the false missile text everyone got this morning. Someone from state inadvertently texted everyone in Hawaii that there was a missile heading our way from North Korea. That was crazy! Someone is probably going to be fired for this.

Daniel took some awesome pictures. All the pictures posted were from him. He took a good family picture which will be on the Christmas card this November (maybe not, my eyes are closed). I'm already thinking about how the Christmas card will look for 2018. Life is going by too fast!

Pounding mochi was great! We had good family fun. Janice and Eric came by and hung out with us for a little while.
