Halloween

Halloween - October 31, 2014

For Halloween this year, Jared wanted to be a Military Army Man and Malia wanted to be a Zombie Cheerleader. Jared has been really into Military video games like Call of Duty and Battlefield. Malia still is into her Monster High Dolls which appear to be like zombie cheerleaders. I don't know the infatuation with the dolls because they are ugly, but whatever. I remember starting super early with the shopping and getting Jared's present in September from Amazon. The costume they sent was too small, so I sent it back for another one. The Amazon costumes are poorly made, but somewhat cheaper than the costumes at Party City. Malia was easier to buy for as we went to Walmart to get hers. The hardest thing was getting her fangs that would fit her mouth. We bought different kind, who knew there were high end fangs, they cost like $20. Malia as always made it work.

Because life has been so busy the last few years, we've only been trick-o-treating in our neighborhood. We went around the block, Malia went further because she wanted more candy. The kids still made out like bandits. I had them organize their bag. What I've been trying to do the last few years was throw out a good amount of candy or have either Michelle or I take it to work. So much candy, such an unhealthy holiday. I'm cool.

In the future, it would be good to possibly go to a party. But I'm not a big dress up kind of guy. The Waikiki things is good too, but I'm not into that anymore. OAG.
