Downtown Boston

Quincy and I woke up at 3a because of the time difference. At 5a we both decided to do something. I ran 2 miles to the Charles Bridge to try catch the sunrise. It never happened, so I ran back. The reflection I had was amazing. My brother who went to the casino at the same time won $2000 before coming home with $800. When I got home I took a shower.

My mom and I got ready and our plan was to go to Downtown Boston. On the way, my mom asked 4 different Bostonians for directions. She is good at that, even though she can't hear much. We caught the Boston T which is the Boston Subway. It took us a few minutes to read the map at the station. He took time but not much effort to understand the process.

We started at the Fenway Park stop, caught the green line to Park St. We walked about a block to Downtown Crossing. On the way we seen a cemetery. We found out that it is the oldest cemetery in American history. John Hancock and Paul Revere were buried there. After the cemetery, we walked to the Quincy Market to get chowda. I got the red and white styles. It reminded me about the movie Ace Ventura Pet Detective where Jim Carey was in the club and needed info but to get to the room he needed to a password. I digress. Both chowdas were outstanding. After both my mom and I ate a piece of Boston Creme Pie. It was good, but nothing outstanding. We did some brief shopping at some tourist traps before going back to the Boston T.
