The Food

The food in the Philippines is top notch. I've never eaten so well in my life. I have eaten well in my 33 years of existence. Although I haven't been to Europe, Far East (only Japan), and South America yet which makes me think that I will be eating really well in my 40s and 50s when I'll make a great effort to visit those places. The food in the Philippines is outstanding. With Jessica, Quincy, and Trey as big time foodies, along with Michelle, I knew we would make great choices on our meals. Believe me we did. We also experienced many home cooked authentic Filipino Cuisine: pinakbet, palabok, pancit, and arroz caldo in its most authentic form was outstanding. Nothing in Hawaii can beat those dishes that we ate in the Philippines. Our Aunty Lolit's arroz caldo is just as good, but she is from the Philippines. We also drank some of the best smoothies I've ever tasted. My expectation of a smoothie is at such an unreachable level right now, that I it cannot be beat.
