Aunty Gayle's House

Aunty Gayle's House

Since Aunty Gayle lives in San Diego near Sea World and the San Diego Zoo, we decided to ask her if we could stay over thus avoiding the cost of a hotel. Aunty Gayle is our sister-n-law, but our kids refer her to Aunty Gayle and so we all call her Aunty Gayle. Unfortunately, Uncle Horst was still out to sea when we arrived, so he wouldn't be there.

On the way to San Diego, we stopped at a pier to eat breakfast. We happened upon this by mistake. It was a good mistake because it started the day off right. Something about eating a hot breakfast on a cold day at the beach makes things better.

On the first night, I remember Gayle took us to Old Mexican town where there were amazing authentic Mexican restaurants. Some place called Old Town. We ate at Fiesta de Reyes and I ordered some type of burrito. I never ate this type of Mexican food before. It was so fresh and good!!!

When we got home, I remember seeing a skunk outside. I got startled, but Gayle says it comes all the time. Oh well, there are nothing like these animals in Hawaii, we only have pigs.
