Clippers Game

Clippers vs Raptors at Stan Sheriff Center - October 1, 2017

The Clippers came to town for preseason. This was the first time, the Clippers came to Hawaii to play. The Clippers offseason was busy as they traded Chris Paul to the Rockets. Blake Griffin got hurt during the playoffs and had to rehab in the summer.

My dad was in the Philippines until October 3rd to finish up funeral stuff. I just came home on Tuesday and caught the flu. This week has been too much on my body. I'm not sure how people are able to handle situations like this. I was exhausted. Nevertheless, I dragged Jared to Manoa to watch the Clippers game.

Game time was at 4pm. We left at 3pm. Traffic was very heavy and we got there at 4:30pm. We rushed to the front and it was jam packed. I was like, "Yes!, they started late", however the person next to me said they are already in the first quarter. I ask them how long they waited, they said about an hour already. People were getting very frustrated and the line was backed up. Second quarter came and went and we were still outside. Fans were at threshold already and were ready to turn into an angry mob. People were complaining left and right. Finally at halftime we got in. What a waste!

After getting food, we found our seats and watched the 3rd and 4th quarter. Play was exciting as the game was close between the Clippers and Raptors. Unfortunately, Blake and Deandre for the Clippers and Kyle Lowery and Derozan played their minutes in the first half and was on the bench.

Near the end of the game, Jared and walked down to the lower level near the Clippers bench to see the players close up. Jared said one of the guys said hi to him. He probably was just saying that.

We exited the stadium. Traffic coming out of the Stan Sheriff was a stand still. It took about 30 minutes to get out.

What a crock! I don't think I will ever go again. Tickets were $40 a pop. Imagine if I bought the expensive tickets. That would be disappointing.
